rafting the nile? yes please.

tyler had a brownout in the raft.
youll have to ask him about the details.
i think most my blogs from here will be short.
its tough to make sense of everything thats going on.
its pretty surreal at this point.
alot to take in.
but anyways...the rafting was ridiculous.
swimmin in the nile.
sometimes by choice, other times not so much.
class 5 rapids means you cant see anything but white bubbly water,
and your boat almost folds in half everytime a wave smashes you.
it was nuts. i dont know how else to explain it.
the rapids go by so fast but its always enough time to question whether or not you will live through it.
our friend mister kenneth sings in a reggae band here in uganda.
and he said this."i am going to write a song about rafting with the canadians, it takes a long time to grow a tree, but only a short time to take it down. i wonder if today i am that tree, and because of you i will be taken down in a short time in the next rapids."
