couple days til canada.
as we wrap up our last week here weve done a lot of things.
visited a hospital that has 40 some odd beds, and 177 some odd patients.
thats more than 3 people in a bed sometimes.
believe it. it happens.
we ate a 1kg steak of sorts.
probably one of the worst chunks of meat ive encountered since i stopped being vegetarian a couple years back.
it was like eating a 1kg bag of balloons. try it sometime.
i got a number from a girl at the mall.
got called crazy by a good number of small children due to my tattoos and earrings.
mzungu mullalo they will yell at you, right in your face.
it means crazy whiteman.
its quite humorous.
we went to the largest market in eastern africa.
did the safari thing. crocodiles, hippos, elephants, lions, giraffes, antelope like crazy, we even hit one of them with the van. broke its legs.
natural selection i guess.
tomorrow we are at an orphanage in kampala.
all the kids are between 1 month and 2 years old.
they have the place full constantly and cant keep up with the amount of new children being brought to them. friday we are stopping in jinja to visit friends.
then we are going to a qualifying match for the africa cup of nations featuring Niger and Uganda. hopefully Uganda will win and there wont be a riot.
secretly im hoping for a riot though.
that would be hilarious.
all in all im back in canada on monday.
then in regina sometime after that.
i dont really know when yet.
hopefully have some time to sort out my thoughts about what ive seen here.
and decide what to do next with my time.
its difficult to say what will happen.
