this is my blog version of 2006.

the end of another year is coming.
really what does it matter? not much.
but its good for reflecting.
think about what i learned, and what i wish i hadnt learned.
what i did, or didnt do, or shouldnt have done.
i think when i think about the past twelve months and what sticks out for me is this.

theres a church on the street i live on.
or the street attached to the street i live on anyways.
and they have a typical sign out front that says stupid things on it.
like most churches.
but one day not long ago, it said "the thing to spend on children is time"
i have no children, but i have friends and family.
so i think about the ones i have, the ones here, and the ones not here.
and remember all the time i spent with these people the last twelve months.
how important that is to me, and how theres nothing better you can give someone than yourself.
i also thought about how much time i wasted on people.
bad as it sounds i can think of a lot of time i wasted.
what im getting at is this.
notice the people in your life who are important to you, and give yourself to them.
realize what kind of an impact you can have on their life by being in it.
